Help! I don't want to fail!

I just read about being able to stretch out your pouch. It makes sense to me but for some reason i forgot that this is possible. I feel like i have been eating way too much and i am wondering if i have already stretched it out. What can cause your pouch to stretch? is it just eating too much? can carbonation cause it? I eat till i can not eat another bite. Am i doing it wrong.? I am my dr 2nd band patient so they do not have a lot of info for me. Can you shrink it back by just doing liquids or eating less. I am only 2 mos out and my weight is still coming off but very slowly and only if i am working out. I have 1.2 cc in my band with some restriction but not alot. if more is put in and i eat less is it possible to make it shrink back. Help! I don't want to fail at this!

Yes, you can stretch out your pouch. And yes, going back on liquids will usually help it.

I think the problem is that you can't tell if it's stretched without expesive tests.

I hope someone else will come in here and answer this who is more experienced than me. I know for me, if I eat too much, my left shoulder really hurts. I have heard they call that pouch packing. I try really hard to stick to the amount I am supposed to have, but I don't always have good restriction. I will know more after my 3rd fill. I am going to talk to the dr. about this on Wed.

You aren't supposed to eat until you can't possibly eat anymore. You're supposed to stick to about 3/4 of a cup of food, and you aren't supposed
to have carbonation.

Hopefully someone will post the good bandster rules. I can't remember all
of them!
