Help, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong!

Help! I don't understand what I'm doing wrong...
I had lost 50lbs originally after my band...I'm 5mths in and starting to gain...I've haven't lost anything for the last 2 mths... my fault because I wasn't exercising...well this month I've been exercising and eating right...doing everything right...the first two weeks, I didn't lose anything...this last week and half I've gained back 4.5lbs. What am I doing wrong? I'm getting discouraged. I do an hour of walking and some type of aerobic exercise every day. Do I need to do more? Sometimes I don't eat enough calories...is this hindering instead of helping...should I force myself to get in all my calories for the day? Any advice will help...I see my doc and nutritionist next Tuesday, should I get another fill? I've had good restriction these last two months so I don't know if getting another fill would help.

Do you feel like you could eat a lot? If so, it might be time for a fill. And yes, you should be getting the calories you need every day. Vary them. Try 800 one day and 1200 the next or something like that. Log your food. That makes a HUGE difference. You will hit plateaus (some of mine were 6 weeks or more), but you should overall be losing IF YOUR ARE WORKING IT RIGHT. Best way to find that out is to log your food.

Sometimes you don't eat enough? How many calories is not enough? Track your calories for a few days AND track your protein? Are you getting enough protein? Are you having too many carbs?

I would start there. If it's not an exercise problem ( because you are exercising) then it's a food problem... too much... or not enough... or not enough of the right combo of foods.

1200 calories of carbs is not the same as 1200 calories of protein.

My doctor is very strict about measuring. He says if you don't continue to measure your food, you will increase the amount you are eating without realizing it. You may try to measure and track.

I've seen where many on here go to Weight Watchers, maybe trying that would give you a fresh start and kick start your weight loss again.

Everyone here offered SUPER ideas for you! I am going to throw this is because last year, I didn't lose much at all (26 lbs all year!). However, I was working out 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. Hmmm. When this year came around, I got super serious about it and I got a Body Bugg. I found that while I was working out hard and burning cals, I was still eating too much! The stat is that people underestimate what they eat by about 40%! That was me, totally. OR, I would eat some soup and it was loaded in sodium and I was always puffy. SO, I would suggest logging all food, weigh and measure food, and talk to your doc about this, too. I wonder if you do need a fill? I would NOT rule it out. Are you full after a small amount and STAY full for quite a while? Or, do you see a pattern of "every day I get hungry at 2 PM and start eating"? That happened to me and I got another great fill and don't have that anymore. Let us know what you decide to do! I would love a follow up!
