hard time drinking liquids after eating?

I have been banded for almost 8 months now (Realize band) and have lost 53 lbs. I have had 3 fills with a total of 6cc. I have good restriction and my last fill has been a couple of months ago. My question is: is it normal to not be able to comfortably drink anything even after 2-3 hrs. of eating. I have noticed this happening alot latley. Like for lunch today I only ate 2 scrambled eggs, and now 3 hrs. later I am still struggling to drink any water. I just get real uncomfortable and start gurgling and burping like it is just sitting in my chest. Do you think it is because my stomach (or pouch as I should say) is still completely full from lunch and there is no room for this water? Anybody else having this issue?

That doesn't sound right. Possibly you are too tight and need to go for a small unfill. You don't want to end up getting dehydrated.

I agree. At 2-3 hours post op you should be able to drink (unless you're drinking something carbonated?)
By then it should trickle around and past the food (like a stream and rocks) and go on through, even if you still had some/most of your meal sitting there.

You need to call your surgeon; you might have a slip or some other issue that, the sooner it's caught, the less problematic it will be!
