Goodbye Protein Shakes!!!!!

At least for awhile...discovered Natures Best Zero Carb Isopure ready to drink glass bottles. Thank God !If I had to drink one more milky strawberry or choc. protein drink I was moving to Yemen. I just received them yesterday YUM! I love the Grape Frost! Now per my DR's order I am spossed to have a protein drink that is <130 cal.<5 carbs>15 protein...and a total of 70 protein a day.So I'm kill'in myself with the 2+shakes a day + protein soup. (also no more than 400-600 calories a day.) Isopure is a whopping 40 gram protein,0 fat,0 carb and 160 cal. in one serving(a little more cal. will have to cut somewhere else)very light, clear, fruity and easy to go down. The Icy orange tasts like Tang...I'm so excited!!!

The cheapest place I found:Powershack.net (12 for $28.98)

Comes in:Alpine Punch,Apple Melon,Blue Raspberry,Grape Frost,Icy Orange,Mango Peach,Passion Fruit and Pine-Orange-Banana

Praise The Lord:clap2:

Tina--

Sounds good. I'll have to try those.

Won't be long until I join you on the banding journey!

Being curious about ion exchange whey proteins, I did some research and found this excellent article. Thought you all might be interested in reading it too.

I have Isopure

I bought the 3.3 pound container of powder of Alpine punch. It's ok. Somewhat filling.

Cool beans, Tina!

I have surprised myself by actually liking the protein drinks! I thought I wouldn't because I do not like milk, but the one I have is mixed with water. It does have more carbs than our doctor advises, but at least it's bearable!

Hi Skye, why I like these so much is it is ready to drink...no mixing...it looks like a sobe bottle...a litttle spendy..but a far cry from my "eating lunch out everyday tab"

I went today and got a tub of the orange pineapple! As you said it was a bit spendy BUT if one 12 oz portion that I can sip on for a while gets me 50 g of protien and only has 210 calories it is SOOO worth it!

Thanks!
Skye
