Getting anxious

:)I have 3 months left on my 6 month program to be qualified for the band. i just want it to be over with! i want my surgery. im so glad i found this site. its very motivating and wonderful to hear stories from other people. i'll keep reading.

I am lucky that I didnt have to wait to qualify ( UK self pay) I know that you have to do all sorts that would have really disheartened me!
Congratualtions on getting this far!
Dont worru about the surgery hon, I am 5 days out and other than being tender I feel fine.

<p><p><p><p>I know exactly how you feel! I also had to do the 6 month Doctor Supervised Weight Loss Program for my insurance. I started in March and ended in August. Before I was finished with the 6 months I got everything else out of the way (psych eval. and visit with the nutritionist, etc.). I have had to do so many things to prepare for this surgery and it is not easy, but you just have to think about the big picture. Think about how the lap-band® can change your life. My surgery is finally scheduled for tomorrow, and I could not be more excited! So yes, it is a long journey, but I really think that it will be worth all the waiting.
