First fill questions

Now, I KNOW all surgeons are different, but, is there a rule of thumb as to how much docs put in a first fill?

What loosens with time that would require a second fill? Weight loss?

PS< I have a Vanguard 10 band.

Thanks in advance. Kind of not looking forward to my first fill, one week from Monday.

Hiya! Well my doctor puts in 2cc's at the first fill but does so with the flouroscope(sp) so he checks it to see its its too big etc.. 1cc was far too little an amount, 2cc was far too much! So he put 1.5cc's in yesterday and we'll see how it goes! Dont be nervous as it was over and done with in about 20 mins and you only feel a small pinch when the needle goes in. i promise!

Yep just a pinch, I have a vangaurd as well. Been banded four months, first fill was at 2months 1.5 cc. Second fill was month later 1cc. Nothing sense then. Am doing great following the plan using the tool and loosing the weight.
