First few bite are tough

Hi again,

My boss had the band the same day i did. We are about 7 weeks post op and no fill for him yet. He is having dificulty with the first couple of bites only. Once he gets a couple bites down he can eat anything. I told him to try drinking hot fluids first...see if that helps.

Any ideas?

He has first bite syndrom. I am surprised he doesn't PB. Yes, warm liquids will help. I would try that first. Other than that, its just a waiting game.
