I am craving it, and am not sure if it's allowed. I was banded on 12/14.
All advice is welcome!
Thanks!
Nathalie

It took me about a year to get brave enough to try it....
no problem at that point.....I have it about once every 3 or 4 months...
and a shared micro bag now lasts me about 3 or 4 days....

I have a mini bag several times a week. Maybe you can tolerate it, maybe you can't. There are no "absolutely can never have"s with the band. Try it for yourself.

I thought we couldn't have it either...... (because of the carbs and the thought of it getting stuck)

I eat popcorn all the time. I get the 100 calorie bags (regular or kettle corn) and sometimes I can't quite finish the bag. It's a good treat!

I don't think the author knew what she was talking about. Of course, I can't find that article now. Maybe they retracted it.

I eat the 100 calorie bags. My doctor said they go down like sand. I have no problem consuming the entire bag at once! Enjoy.

No popcorn OR caffeine?? What kind of life is that?? :) Just kidding. I love my coffee and my doc said it was fine to continue drinking it.

If you can eat it, here is a trick...
You can get bulk popcorn and put a small scoop in a paper bag, fold the end shut and stick it in the microwave. Every microwave is different but i usually set the timer on the microwace for about 2 minutes- I pull it out when the popping starts to get really fast. No butter, no oil, no artificial anythings. Just popcorn and a brown papaer bag. Then of course I spruce it up with my own stuff- but it really works.
