Hello,

What books do you recommend to read? I have seen the LAP-BAND^® for life but wasn't sure if it was worth it. How about the cookbooks?

Before and AFter by Susan M Leach is a good combination of surgeon info, lifestyle changes and recipes for bariatric patients. You can see a lot of her recipes on Bariatric Eating - Protein, Vitamins, Gastric Bypass & LAP-BAND^® Info, Post-op Recipes, and Help.

My favorite was Nutrition for Dummy's. I've not been a fan of the "dummy" books because I'd never bought one before, but this was the most useful book to me, especially to prepare & then the after care. The other book recommended is good too!
