Banded and Back from PV

Hi to everyone!
I successfully had my band surgery on March 27 in PV. I went into surgery at 1 p.m. and was walking and nibbling ice chips by 6 p.m. I was back on the beach by 1 p.m. the following day, having a manicure and pedicure by 2:30, and sipping soup by 5:00. The next day I was in Dallas shopping at the Galleria! I met a nice man whose wife had been banded and lost 100 lbs but is having to have it removed due to a port infection. I'm five days out and down 10 lbs since Monday. Today I attended a birthday party for my 6 yo niece and everyone was shocked that I was up and around with hair and makeup done! As if!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just wanted to say hi and thanks for all the support and inspiration!

Congratulations!! Your post is very encouraging even though I know everyone is different. People do have a distorted view of this surgery thinking of years ago. :p SUPER DUPER job on the 10 lbs and keep us posted!!
