Back to liquids after fill?

I got my first fill (1cc in a 4cc band) today. On my way home, I realized that the doctor didn't mention whether I should go back to liquids temporarily after the fill, as I'd read others have done. So, I called the office and asked. I was told that it isn't necessary for me to adjust my diet at all. Did you adjust your diet after a fill?

I did liquids for just one day, then mushies for a day. After that, back to the usual.

My docs say to stay on liquids the day of the fill, then eat soft the next day and normally after that. Basically the message is: take it slow. You don't want to be surprised by restriction by getting something stuck!

My doc says clear liquids day of fill, full liquids the next day, soft foods the 3rd day and then all clear.

Thanks for your replies. I'm going to play it safe and stick with liquids for today. I can definitely tell a difference with the fill even when I drink liquids. I had a bottle of water in the car, and took a big glug-glug after my appointment, and realized that I need to slow down just a bit, even with drinking water! It felt like it sort of backed up into my throat, but then went down.
