Low Blood sugar?

I was banded Jan 31st. I was having blood sugar problems due to taking prednisone. I was pre type 2 diabetic. Everthing was resolved after I got off the prednisone. But when I do not eat (I was not hungry for 3 days), I get dizzy. The emegency clinic I visited gave me a gluclose pill and I started feeling better. Should I let this go or should I follow up. Sombody at work said because I have lost so much weight that my body needs to adjust. I bought one of those blood sugar moniters and It usually reads between 90-100 (first thing in the morning). My guess is that should keep track of the sugar levels and if somthing changes then I should get checked out.
Thanks
Rob

definitely keep logging your blood sugars that way when u do see a doctor they can tailor your therapy. (if needed- sounds like your glucose is just about right) you can take it before breakfast and dinner one day, alternating with before lunch and bedtime the next- that way there are 4 points to reference. next time you feel dizzy definitely take your blood sugar before taking a glucose pill to make sure that it actually is hypoglycemia making you feel that way-
good luck!

Are you on any type of diabetic medicine? If not, I would mention this to your doctor and when you are feeling dizzy check your blood sugar levels and see if they are too low. When mine are low my legs feel shaky.
