Victoria you are very cool, you obeyed the spirit promptly. And that is very cool. I agree with you all we have an awsome GOD. He is always there even when we are not. I'm aw-struck by your faith Victoria. It was hard for me to witness to my Father-inlaw much less my entire family all at the same time. I have told him about the Good News, but I don't think he got it. Please pray for him and that someone else might come in his life and also tell him. And that the HOLY SPIRIT will move him to a desision. As I pray that for all the Lost.

Need Prayer

Hi Family,
I've been offline for a while with some serious marital problems. I would ask that you keep me in prayer that I will be strong and be able to stand up for what I know is right and to hear the voice of the Lord in all of this. I have alot of anxiety and especially now since I can't use food for comfort, it's 100 times more emotional for me. I have been staying with my son in Las Vegas and am thinking about selling my home in NJ and moving here. I would appreciate your prayers.

God bless you all!! Hope everyone is winning their fight over obesity!!!!

Reesh, you are in my prayers. My husband and I do marriage mentoring at our church. Please try to get yourself into a good Christian counselor who can help you out.

Reesh, we're praying for you. We know that the Lord will give you guidance and wisdom to handle this situation. And as Gadgetlady said, I would try to find a counselor and get some help for yourself first, and then get help for the marriage. If you get help for the anxiety that you're feeling, that may help you to have a clearer head to deal w/some of the other stuff.

Stay strong!

Dont lose hope.

Dear Reesh, I am holding you and you family in prayer, I believe that a praying wife that fights her battles on her knees, gives her battles to God and He will show you amazing things. The hard part though for me anyway is to trust His timing. I have prayed EZ. 36 where God said He would put His precepts into the hearts of men, (people), remove the stony heart and replace it with a heart of flesh, and then the wonderful thing is that He said He would cause men to move on those precepts. I have faith that He is hearing our prayers, He even searches to and fro trying to find someone who would put thier faith in Him. He is eager to hellp us. Its awsome that you asked for the prayers of your christian family, there is so much power in corporate prayer. I hope you are able to praise Him in the middle of all this, I believe that praise when offered by a heavy heart becomes even more powerful, it helps our spirit, removing the spirit of heaviness, and putting the joy of the Lord back into our heart. I know that the joy of the Lord is our stregnth, right? I had some very serious problems in my marraige, that was about 12 yrs ago, and counseling and prayer saved my marraige, health and finances.
Take good care of yourself, I hope you can find peace soon.

Pleased to meet you, too! I would love to meet all of you in person one day.

I love this website and this thread. It inspires and encourages me so much!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Please pray for the troops who are serving (and their families), and take a moment to remember those who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Blessings!!!

hello everyone,
I had my band a week age today, I prayed for it I had tried every diet under the sun, and I believe the Lord knows that. I started speaking lap band in Sept. as if it were going to happen the next day. I never gave up. Don't forget life and death are in the power of the tounge. so if there is something you want and truly believe you have spoken to the Lord about it speek it!

thank you for this thread, i believe that this was my time and God's plan, other wise i would of had it done two years ago when my insurance approved it for gastric bypass, but i was also scared and i thought it was something i could do on my own, and i also have the biggest fear of surgery, more than anyone i know, (especially if it's something that isn't medically necessary), however, i prayed about this, in the last two years, my insurance company changed and after appeals with them, the new insurance company said no, it wasnt covered in their policy and i had no way around it, so my hubby took his retirement and said to go ahead with it, it took me some time to feel comfortable about this, but after praying with God and realizing that this is "medically" necessary, i went through with it, and may 23rd, i had it done, with God by my side, I wasnt as nervous as i was before and he brought me through safe and sound.

Prayers for Pam please-Her weight is high and the doc said must do something-NOW_ this is a sign that Pam can't dawdle on this issue anymore-She has concerns and often doctors are a great vehicle for God's provision. As her husband, I feel that God has offered a way-If God is not in this, please pray that HE will show another way to help Pam....THANKS ALL...FRANK
