How long??

For those already banded, how long after surgery until you were able to be back on the bike? Riding season is just about here in Wisconsin and I want to be able to ride as much as possible. I am still waiting for my insurance to go thru but just so I have an idea of time off the bike. Also, after you were able to bike again, does the port hurt? Any other issues on the bike?

I suppose in Wisconsin by the time you can take the snow plow off the bike you will be well healed....HAR!!!

I don't ride bikes lately due to other issues than the Band. I can't imagine any normal recovery would have you off it more than perhaps a week if that.
Depends on too many variables. I was carrying fire wood on day 3 postOp...not much, not far....but it didn't hurt either.

Most do fine and return to their normal activities (and MORE) very shorty....
