Re: Weight Watchers

Hello, yes I follow a more high protein Weight Watchers type plan. I still have the points system in my head and cannot get around wanting to do this type of planning. I do reach for higher protein and try to stay with-in my point range. I also keep a daily track of my eating in there books as I have been for many many years. I love WW it's a good soild healthy plan to me!! How about you what are you doing and is it working for you as well? Cynthia

Re: Weight Watchers

I am thingking about rejoining WW (after 2 years) just to increase the weight lost process. I was banded in April 2008 and lost 45 pounds to date, an average of 1 pound per month.

Re: Weight Watchers

Doing WW preband (I am still preop), I have never really had a hard time getting all my points in. But, I was wondering if it is difficult to get all your points in now, since you can eat so much less? Could you expand on how you feel like WW is the same/different with the band.... Thanks!!

Re: Weight Watchers

I try and stick to the ww points also. Have done ww off and on for so long it seems natural to keep the points added in my head. The weekends are usually what get me off track. I enjoy going out with friends and having a few drinks but during the week I keep a close watch on the points I use.

Re: Weight Watchers

Joined WW about 5 years ago and lost 50 pounds. Put 20 back on before being banded. I am staying to earn my lifetime (worked hard for that). Then I can go just once a month to keep me accountable.

I think the points are good so you don't eat too high of fat content with all the protein required. My nutritionist requires a detail of food eaten with calories, fat, protein and carbs. I add fiber and points so it is a really detailed accounting. As tired as I am of tracking it is a helpful tool.

I am hoping for the day when I can just eat and not worry about it. Until that day I track!

Good luck to you
