Ticker

I just figured this out yesterday. Go to tickerfactory.com. Pick the scale and slider you want, enter your info. Then there is a place when you finish that says "generate code". Copy the code, then come back to this site, go into edit your profile and under change signature in the pick box paste what you copied from tickerfactory. Remember to save tickerfactory in your favorites so you can go and update stats and it will automatically change on this site.

Hope this helps!

Tickers

Ok, I've tried several times to set up my ticker and have never come across anything that says "generate code"

You need to go to ticker factory and update your profile every time you lose weight

OK, so I was having the same problem. As stated, go to tickerfactory.com. Add all of your information. Once you have finished that step, the url will appear. Copy the url, and then come back to lapbandtalk and paste the url code in the signature portion under either edit profile or edit options (can't remember). Then hit the save option. The ticker should appear every time you post a comment. To update it, click on the actual ticker on your profile. You can actually click on it after you post a comment. Once you click on it, it will take you back to the ticker page where you will enter your pin number. All you need to do is update it there and it will be updated on your profile. Hope this helps.

I'm trying to change my weight on my ticker (down 7 lbs Yay!) but I forgot my pin number, and I don't see anything I can click on like you normally do for other sites when you forget your password or pin (and then it has you answer a secret question.) Am I missing something? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
