Stomach/Mid Back pain/Hiccups/ PLEASE HELP!

I posted the following on another thread but I'm in dire need of a response. Any advice you can provide would be GREATLY appreciated.

Im not certain what's going on here but last night I ate some sandwich meat, cheese, and some chips at my parents house. I started to hiccup uncontrollably and this morning I woke up and my stomach and mid back hurt. I've been feeling like this all day long and I'm concerned that my band might have slipped. I was afriad to anything solid for lunch so I went to Chili's and purchased enchilada soup. I had two crackers and the pain was excruciating. Does anyone have any idea as to what symptoms one would have if the band slips. Also, what causes hiccups? PLEASE HELP!

I was assuming you were right out of surgery due to your symptoms. I'd stick to clears and call your doc to see what he suggests. Sorry you are going through this!

I've had simular pain for 5 months.
One time I ate 3 small shrimp, & then "frothed" for 30 minutes, & had to do liquids for days. It happens to me all the time.
Then dr., rn, & np, have NO answers. They say, Your band is too tight", or "take smaller bites", or chew more". I alway take small bites & chew well. After you take that bite, thats not going to agree with your band, there's not a d--- thing you can do , but suffer.
God bless, judyfay
