Is it possible to chew too much?

I know it's probably a dumb question, but I've been chewing so much that it's practically a liquid before I swallow. I'm wondering if this could make me feel hungrier sooner since it might pass through the band quicker?

:rolleyes

I agree, can't chew to much. Just make sure your not drinking liquids with your food.

Keep up the good work ;)

...you will find proper chewing and resultant assimilation of micronutrients will add to the sensation of satiety....as well as the mastication process itself having a little understood yet admittedly important role beyond the mechanical mastication process.

The 'TASTE' of food improves with chewing, and the sensation of satifaction increases with longer mastication. Blood value levels shift around and help contribute to other mechanisms of 'satiety' as well....

When we gulp, that is all lost or diminished...hence, we gulp more down rather than reliaze 'satiety'...

There is lots to read on this subject...cheers for continued progress
