Old meds not working anymore after this surgery

I have several meds that I took before my surgery that I took for various problems and now they don't seem to be working anymore does anyone have any solutions or has anyone else experieced this problem. thank you

I don't know why your meds wouldn't work with the band. Since no intestine is bypassed, there isn't any malabsorption, so your meds should be absorbed the same way as before. Unless you've lost a bunch of weight, and the meds aren't right for your weight anymore.

The best thing to do about this is to call your surgeon and the prescribing doctor to see what they say.
