Not worried, not scared, not anxious - Not Normal?

Here I sit one week until my surgery and I'm not at all worried, I'm not scared, I'm not anxious - nothing. Just kind of in a holding pattern until the 15th when I get banded by Dr. Kuri in Tijuana.

And I have all of you to thank!! I feel as if I've read enough, and you have all been so generous and forth coming with information and experiences, that I feel like I know what to expect - both good and bad.

I'm not going through 'last meal' syndrome. In fact, just the opposite. I've been working on the 'chew chew chew' and trying not to drink with meals (that doesn't work too well with spicy food).

Thank you all for all your time. You are all an invaluable resource and I feel very blessed to have found this board.

Kim, you are so wise to get into those habits before your banding! I can't wait to hear about your banding journey! It sounds like you are going to be a winner (or I mean "LOSER")!:)

Kim... I didn't get nervous until the day before and the day of my surgery... so either we are both abnormal... or... we are both normal.

Kim, you're wonderfully normal! I was pretty much the same way, having gone away for the previous weekend with my family I wasn't really able to focus too much on my impending surgery. But the night before I was a little nervous.

Good luck with everything!! We can't wait to hear how smoothly it all went. :D
