:faint: just got back from the internist....

lab work.....

I've been on insulin injections FIFTEEN YEARS!!!!!

When I started my WL journey in earnest, with all the meds and 200 units insulin per day.....it was hard to keep my A1c below 7.0....although generally I managed in the mid-6.5 range...


Now since Thanksgiving I've had ONLY 6 or 7 insulin injections....in over 3 months, a total of less than 90 units.....

My lab work brings my current A1c in at 5.9!!!!

and all other values are 'normal' range.....

HoooRawww!!!!:clap2:

and I'm down 111# from my highest weight---including the 18 months PRE- band loss I struggled so mightily to obtain....

so.... another 20 # and he sends me for a Plastic Surgeon consult!!!

I can hear the phone ringing from the Chips Dancers already!!!!!

That is one of the BEST NSVs there is!! Real, tangible improvement in health is absolutely priceless. Congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you!
