Question Did this happen to anyone else???

Hi! Went to sign the consent forms today and when the nurse took my blood pressure it read 170/105. It has never been this high before. I usually run 140/85 and I am on all sorts of meds. The surgeon said if it is this high on the day of surgery the anesthesiologists will not put be under and I won't be able to have the surgery.
Did anyone else have this problem???:ranger:

It's likely "White Coat Syndrome". However, the point is not that it went up once, the point is that it CAN go up that high in your case.

Relax, know that alllllllll is good. Watch your BP, maybe consider getting a home blood pressure cuff to monitor and see if you go that high during other stressful times. If so, you might need to be treated.
