The top 3 things would be:
1) Stick to the different Food Phases as close as you can - the first three months are the hardest.
2) I have kept a Food Diary from Day 1. This has kept me very honest with myself. I even kept it on Thanksgiving Day. (This never worked for me when I tried Weight Watchers but with the band it has been very successful for me.)
3) Attend your support meetings regularly and develop a good repoire with your doctor/surgeon. Be honest with him or her. Be honest with yourself. Set realistic goals for yourself.
