| The docs can do a urine test. It takes about 4 minutes, much less than the lab results from bloodwork.
I knew I wasn't pregnant. My mom kept telling me I was, my husband had no opinion. I did the test to shut people up, set it down, started to vacuum... then looked at it just to look at it and ... wtf??? It was a happy surprise for us, but we hadn't been trying that month or the month before. We had been trying hard off & on for about a year with no luck, and hadn't used BC in about 5 years, so I had really just started to think that we might need to seek fertility treatments in the summer.

| my doctor's office will allow you to walk in a just get the blood drawn. no appointment, no co pay. all you have to do is call and ask.
i had my blood work done 1/14 and it was negative. the blood can pick up 2-14 days and apparantely i was too early. i took 5 dollar general test before, one positive 4 negative.
i was pregnant.

State: Iowa | I took a Dollar Tree prego test, it was + and he will be 2 in June!! They work just as well as the $20 ones and are even easier to use. My Dr. said a + is a + and those look +, but I would take another one, I bet it will be + now! The Dr office does the same test. Good luck! |

State: Of confusion | Honestly I don't see a good line in those, but it really could just be their brand. I would spend a few dollars more and go to the Dr. Then you know. But I would ask for a blood test. Good luck!

| hi. this is not a smart comment but instead of buying 3 or 4 dollar pregnancy test wouldnt it be wiser to invest 6 or 7 dollars on 1 name brand test? just a thought. that way you wouldnt have to question the positive. |

| Hey ladies! A friend of mine just sent me this website, which could help with the whole "stocking up" on pg tests issue: ThinkGeek :: PTeq - USB Pregnancy Test
Basically, it's a little USB pregnancy test. It comes with the strips (that you pee on) and there's a USB connector that you plug into your computer and get your results. Totally reusable (you have to change the strips) and apparently it's an ovulation tester too. Cool, huh? Now if I only had use for it myself... :D |

State: Minnesota | That was a very cool gadget! Too bad it's fake.... I would have believed it too, if you hadn't have warned us!
