Should I get an unfill or try to wait it out?

I got my 3rd fill on friday after 8 months since my last one.

I did clear liquids that day and pureed foods and soups yesterday, but last night I did have some mashed potatoes because I was freaking hungry!! Well, I had one too many bites of them and ended up with that stuck feeling... and I PB'd a little.

This morning and up to now I have not been able to keep anything down. Hot tea, water, broth... this totally sucks and I don't want to PB again. How long can I go like this? When do I call the doctor? Will it possibly calm down later today and I can just stay on clear liquids for a little longer?

When I had restriction last time I couldn't have much in the morning but something hot usually helped.. now I can't even have anything hot.

Sounds like a call to your surgeon is a good idea.

And in those circumstances, I have had to return to liquids only for a few days myself.

Welcome to the "Slow Learners Club"....don't fret...there's a lot of us here.

Eventually we do get the idea that the cues change and we can not eat like we did as our fill level increases.

Let me tell you . . . I had a big problem with my last fill a couple of weeks ago. I could not even keep water down. I kept drinking hot coffee thinking that would be okay but what I was doing (didn't know at the time) was making things spasm in there. When I finally called the doctor he told me not to drink hot or cold, then I was a little better. I did go in for a unfill after three days - boy was that a relief. I would call the doctor right away if I were you. Good luck!!
