Delayed Effect for Fills?

Hi All,
I've read several posts that say that sometimes it takes a couple of days to feel the full effect of a fill. Does anyone know why? I really appreciate all the information on this board. Thanks!

Erin, its due to swelling. Once the swelling goes down you will have the correct affect of the fill. Hope this helps.

fill

I had my first fill of 1cc a week ago, still no difference. Does it take longer to make a difference? If not, I guess I will have fill #2.

there usually is a BIG noticeable change from 1/4 cc to 1.5/4cc.....beware, you may get what you think you want.....

Some find suddenly that extra fill is more than they anticipated...and have to find a way to deal with THAT too....

It took SIX MONTHS for me to get to my own first fill....another 2 months to 2nd....another 2 to 3rd....then 4 months to UNFILL back to 1/4cc....
