Bad fill doctors

My friend in Ohio had a bad fill doctor who overfilled her band unbelievably. She was so sick that she was on the way to having surgery on her stomach when the new doc decided to see how much fill was in her band. It was 11cc!. This is an 11 cc band. Our doc in Mexico said never to fill this band beyond 9 cc. And her fill doctor had REMOVED 5 cc from her band, so she had 16 cc in an 11 cc band. She was miserable, not able to eat or drink anything, and her stomach swelled up. She said the relief when the new doc removed the fluid from the band was immediate. I think these incompetent fill docs should be prosecuted. She is just happy to be able to eat and drink again, but I'm really p*ssed about this. I have 4.5 cc in my 11 cc band and have plenty of restriction. Has anyone else had a bad fill doctor?
