Any one have more restriction with liquids than solids

I have the realize band. It holds 9cc. I had 3cc the day of surgery and had a 3 cc fill. I can feel the band but still can eat quite a bit. It seems like I feel the band more when I drink than when I eat. This makes no sence. any one elce ever feel this way?

Hi, I have the realize band also, but I didn't have any "fill" during surgery. I had to wait almost 2 mos and then only received 1.5cc. Dr. has been very caution in giving me fills. I am now finally up to 6cc and I can't eat anything in until about noon or I get that feeling in my chest. After noon, then I can eat slowly and can actually consume a lot of food, more than I think I should. I have never had a problem with liquids tho. Maybe you should ask your doctor and see what he has to say.

I have trouble drinking also. Every time I drink something cold, I throw it up. I drink hot coffee in the am and then hot tea the rest of the day. I am not drinking enough but it is hard to keep it down. I am fine with eating, I have a good restriction so I am not hungry most of the time. However, i am often thirsty
