3 ccs

i was told when i get my band that it is okay to partially fill it. the literature that i have read said that when you put it on it stays unfilled or can be partially filled. i am supposed to partially get mine filled to 3 ccs. will this be too tight?

Well, how big is your band going to be? If you're going to have a 4cc band I'd think it would be way to tight. If you're going to have one of the big bands, 3cc's might be more in line.

My doctor did not put any saline in my band at the time of my surgery. I had a lot of restriction from the start so I'm glad he didn't. There are a few people on LBT who had saline in the beginning so, hopefully, one of them will give you a shout here.
