Fifties and Plastic Surgery

Has anyone in our age group had PS after weight loss? I'm looking in the mirror and see all this loose skin, then think to myself, why bother to fix it, I'm still gonna be 54 and an old fart. Is it stupid vanity that makes me want to fix what I can fix? I would like to get down to the pool without thinking about all the saggy baggy stuff I am forced to display, but we're retired and taking money out of savings for surgery is a big step.

I am certainly going to have PS. Personally, I'm not at old fart stage. My son keeps telling me I'm young and hip!! I'm not losing all this weight to have loose skin. My last half of life is going to be spent looking hot

I keep saying the same thing to myself and I'm 40. Its either that or I think I'd better get in and do it now whilst I still have a few short years to enjoy it.

But really - why not? Why is 50 too old? Why is 60 too old? Its all about how you feel about yourself.

Money's an issue though - I feel the same way - I have 3 kids to house and educate, how important can great boobs really be?

OMG, YES go for the Plastic Surgery!!

I am 58 and just starting and you are darn sure I am getting PS! I have suffered too long with this huge pannus (apron) and gobs of skin and fat!
I laughed so hard the other day as I was explaining the lap band to a young man to tell his obese wife.
He asked, "Are you going to get that origami done with your stomach skin afterwards??" LMBO!!

(I can just visualize a big folded swan on the old belly!)
