New guy

There dosn't seam to be many guys in the thirty something group, let me be the first. I was banded 48 hrs ago and feal pretty good. I have been hitting the treadmill to help with this dang gas, other then that just taking it easy.

Thanks Mama, I hope so! I too have 3 kids, they where one of the biggest reasons I did this.

I can't think of a better reason to have this surgery then to get healthy for my kids! I battled gestational diabetes with my pregnancies and decided afterwards that I had to do something before I developed type 2 diabetes. I am so happy I did this.... I haven't felt this great in years!! How old are your kids?

Drink some warm liquids and try to avoid cold liquids until the gas has gone down. It really works! Congrats on the band!
