Thursday May 15th is the day, thats next week. I think I might throw up!!  Im so nervous, but also really excited. I have been researching the Lap Band for awhile now and am confident this is what I want to do. I am ready to start my new life!!! |

I remember that excitement I felt when I got my date. I can't say I felt like throwing up though. I started dancing around the house like a fool.
And guess what? 4 months out.... and still dancing! This is the best thing I have ever done for myself!

State: Massachusetts | Congratulations on your decision! Mine was done in December, 2007 and everything went fine. The worst part is what you're going through right now with the liquid fast... My doctors and hospital were absolutely wonderful and supportive, and I had zero post-op pain in the hospital thanks to the pain medicine. You won't regret your choice and you'll feel so much healthier for it later on. Just be patient with the band, and follow your doctor's orders. Good Luck! | |

I started the pre-op diet yesterday, liquids only for three days. It is not fun. I am so hungry, and cranky. Thursday is coming so fast, I cant believe it. Good luck to us all!!! | |
