Hey there... I am new to these forums. I just had my first informational meeting with my doctor today about the Lap Band procedure. I am 5'1 1/2", 262 lbs, and 25 years old. I have been overweight my entire life and have tried everything to lose, but it has never worked. I finally decided it was time to do something about this. I have been reading the forums today and am so excited to hear about everyones success so far. This forum is really going to help me through the process. I have my first real session with the psychologist, dietician, and Dr. in one month to start the real evaluations. I hope this is my chance at leading a healthy and happier life. :) Just thought I'd share :)

Well im not in my 20's but i read your post and wanted to comment. I hope that all goes well for you. I am at the very beginning of my adventure as well. I am 5'2 270 and have been overweight since having my daughter.... 17 years ago LOL. I hope this works for us both.
