Questions..

Hi i'm nineteen and i am considering the banding procedure. I have some questions for those of you who have gone through the procedure. The first is what was the recovery period like, the second what complications you had or even if you had any, and the third, did you use any other programs to supplement the procedure i.e. personal trainer or dietitian. Thanks for all you help and its good to see some other young folks out there.

Hi- I was banded about 8 months ago when I was 19. First of all I would like to congratulate you on taking this step into your new future. I had a really good recovery, I had my surgery at 8AM and was out by 3PM. I was sore for about 2 weeks but after that everything was good. I have not had any complications. And as of right now I'm hoping to start with a trainer in March or April.
