Which weight to use in ticker?

My scale at home and the dr's are so different! I kinda figure I should use the one at home, since it's the one I have access to (the dr is 3.5 hrs away so I really only go there when I have have have to). But is that not "official" enough?

Maybe it's just way different because of clothes and shoes?

At home, in the morning, wearing what God gave me, I'm 239. At the dr's office in the afternoon with all my jeans and shoes and stuff on, I'm 246 or some such thing. Obviously I like 239 better. My scale seems to be pretty close to the one at WW, so I don't think it's "off", I think it's just the time of day and clothing issue.

I guess I will go with my at home number. Thanks for reading my inner dialog and have a great day!

It doesn't matter as long as you stay consistent. If you use your home one (I do), stick with it. Especially in your case where your doctor is so far away, you'll obviously be weighing yourself on your home scale more frequently.

There's exactly 2kg difference between my scale and the doctor's, so I automatically add that.

I'm totally going with my home scale.
First, because I can weigh buck naked on it. (And no, I'm not talking about George Constanza's porno name, either!)
Secondly, I can keep daily track of the incredible weight loss I experience daily once I'm banded. (POSITIVE THINKING!)
Thirdly, because Angie is doing it and I think she's really cool.

=)

I prefer my scale to the one at the doctor's office

Ok then! Home scale it is! My scale weighs a pound heavier than the one at WW, so it's not like I'm using this scale that tells me I'm 135 pounds (where can I buy one of those?).

I'm down 4 pounds just from 2 days of diuretic for my bp and Medifast.
