Share your favorite healthy snack recipe.

Lets get this board moving a little! Share your favorite healthy-healthyish snack recipe or snack idea.

I am currently hooked on apples. I can't eat a whole apple so I core and peel the apples, cut them up and freeze them in my size portions in a ziplock with diet 7-up to keep them fresh.

2 Tbsp. PHILADELPHIA Light Cream Cheese Spread or Fat Free
1 medium apple, cored, cut into 8 wedges
1 Tbsp. PLANTERS Dry Roasted Peanuts, chopped
SPREAD cream cheese spread evenly onto apple wedges; sprinkle with peanuts.

Love berries and mangos. Also I really like carrots or cucumbers with hummus or this spinach dip.

Garlicky Spinach & Ricotta Dip

1 tsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 leek, washed and thinly sliced
2 large bunches of spinach, washed and coarsely chopped
1 cup light ricotta cheese
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp grated nutmeg

Instructions:

One - Coat a large nonstick frying pan with olive oil and set over medium heat. Add garlic and leek. Stir often until soft, 6 to 8 minutes. Add a few drops of water if leek starts to brown too much before it softens.

Two – Increases heat to medium-high and add a few handfuls of spinach. Stir until wilted, then turn into a food processor. Continue to cook rest of spinach in small batches until all is wilted. Place in food processor. Whirl until blended – make it as chunky or fine as you like. Turn into a bowl and refrigerate until cool.

Three - Stir spinach with ricotta, sea salt and nutmeg. Taste and add more seasonings if needed. Dip will water out as it sits; stir before serving.

Nuts!

Any kind.

It really is unfortunate because although healthy, they are just (for me) very addictive and I rarely stop at a reasonable sized portion...who can eat just 8 almonds?!?!?

So, although my favourite, they really have become my downfall...Eve had her apple, with me, it's nuts.

Those all sound yummy.

I like to take the prepacked imitation crab meat and wrap a peice of low fat motzerella or gouda around it.

I also like a plum

Or an apple with a little peanut butter.

That crab and cheese sounds good. Gonna have to try it. I eat turkey that way with Lite Jarlsburg.
