Strange sensation - anyone else?

I have been noticing a tingling sensation on the skin covering my left shoulder blade. It doesn't hurt but it is getting to be a bit distracting. I mentioned it to my surgeon and he smiled and said, "Yes, that is related to the band... a 'referred' sensation." I left it at that but now I'm wondering if it is going to go away. I'm 11 months out from surgery, and the sensation is new. Anyone else experience this?

I get a dull pain sensation (not necessarily tingling) still in my left shoulder some times - especially if I eat too much ! I just take it as one of the signs that I'm pushing it...

Me too - but between my right shoulder blade and spine. It's s tingling sensation that comes and goes. I'm only 2 months post-op but would say this sensation is getting less frequent - not everyday now.

Did your Dr. give you any specific info on the cause?
