Hey Guys, need some advise

Hey fellas,
just came here yesterday wanted to bounce something off of you guys to see what everyone things.
As I said, I have completed all my prerequisites and my stuff has/or is being submitted by the surgeon's office to my insurance. I am confident that I will be approved. Last night I started having thoughts about putting the surgery off until after my wedding on 11/1. Summer has always been a very busy time for me, work, 2nd work, and socially. Plus I know I have stag parties being thrown for me and then ultimately my wedding. What do you guys think? I still really want this surgery, I just think that I can make more out of it after this wedding and it would overall work better for me.

If not now.....

when?"

We can always find another reason to put stuff off...

You're in control. You decide.

"But since you asked"...........
putting off the chance to drop about a jillion pounds before my wedding, or continuing in my party animals ways that made me Morbidly Obese in the first place...

....is this a trick question?

Wedding will bring enough changes in the life....starting as a slimmer healthier Bandster would be MY first choice.

YMMV

Hey BB. I have to agree with Jack. Putting off until November seems to be a pretty long wait. I don't know about you, but with my appetite I could easily have put on 30 lbs in 7 months. You have the chance to lose a substantial amount (I'm a believer that guys lose a lot faster) instead.

Ultimately, it's your choice. Keep us posted, man.

So, let me get this straight: you're planning one of the most important days of your life, when your friends and family will gather from all over the place to celebrate you, where there'll be hundreds - maybe thousands - of photographs taken of you that will be kept and treasured until after you've shuffled off to heaven, and you're thinking that you WANT to go into it morbidly obese?

That doesn't seem right to me. Take the step, lose the weight, and blow away all those people who haven't seen you for ages!

I totally agree, do anything and everything you can to look and feel as good as you can for your Bride and for yourself. Both of you are worth it!

Think about this. Between now and your wedding.
You will be nervous, excited which all leads to gaining weight.

So lets say you'll probably gain - 20lbs.

Now me being a male like you. We loose weight faster than woman. In two month I lost now 40lbs.

Now plus you will have another month or so on the band, so lets say 10lbs.

So lets do the math -----20 + 40+ 10 = 70lbs.

That's the difference between waiting until after the wedding, compared to doing it now.
