Do you mean you are looking for doctors in St. Louis, or you are looking for people in St. Louis and want to know who their doctor is, regardless of where they live?

Dr Minkin does his surgery at Des Peres Hospital (270 and Doughtery Ferry).
I am now 5 days post surgery and feeling pretty well. Still on a liquid diet, hopefully that will change after I see Dr Minkin towards the end of the week.
I just had surgery with Dr. Scott at DePaul. It was a really good experience. He is nice and his staff is super nice. The hospital was really nice also. Had a private room and the nurses were very good. Hope this helps you. Good luck in your journey.
I will be a self-pay patient, as I am on medical school-provided insurance. Were any of you self-payers? Even if you weren't--do you know what the price for self-pay surgery is in the STL area?
I would prefer to have my surgery/doctor/fills in St. Louis, as I still in school, and wouldn't have time to just take off for Mexico, or even other MO cities, to get a fill or a quick after-care appt.
Has anyone gone through this procedure using Dr. Eagon and Wash U Medical Center?? I am just starting this process but they have so much for us to go through before you even get a consultation with the Dr. Is that normal???
Yes it is normal to go through a long process before ever seeing the doctor. I went to De Paul and did not see Dr. Scott until I was approved by my insurance. I think its a time/money thing. Good Luck in your process. Keep us posted on it. Cosmo
I am a Nurse at SLUH, I just had my surgery done with Dr. Darin Minkin. He is wonderful. I had a private room and everyone was really nice. Through the insurace I believe it was about 23,000.00. But I talked to one girl who was going to be self pay and she told me it was going to cost her 11,000.00. I don't know if they do it on a pay as you can basis or not....but call his ofice and they will answer all of your questions....any other questions just ask...hope all goes well for you!
