self-paying doctors in las vegas?

Does anyone know of any doctors in las vegas? Wil they accept self paying patients with financing options?

Most docs seem to work through financing companies. I'd find a doctor you are interested in and see which co's they work with (should be right on the doc's website) and apply that way. The problem is, if you are approved by "X" company and the doc does not work with that company, the loan may not be completed. Sometimes they will accept the check but they have to sign a contract with the financing company and they don't usually want to do that.

Hi littlecruse,

I know that both Surgical Weight Loss Center and Dr. Teng will finance through Care Credit (Having attended seminars for both) and the prices varied from $15,000 - $18,000. I am planning to have my surgery through Dr. Teng's program because he takes my insurance.

If I were you I would just start attending seminars (they are free) and asking lots of questions. Good Luck!!

I was very happy when I read your post about Dr. Teng and Tricare approval. I am also covered by Tricare and I thought the Surgical Weight Control Center of Nevada was the only Tricare provider. I have some issues with their practice and their approach to lap banding. So, Dr. Teng is a viable alternative. Can you give me some specifics?

Hi! If I could have anyone do my LAP-BAND® it would be Dr. Atkinson in
Vegas. However, I am out of state so this poses a challenge for me. I will also be a self-pay and am trying to figure out the easiest way to get all requirements long distance. Good luck!

Hi, her is another great option for self pay LAP-BAND® in Vegas. The doctor is ASMS Center of Excellence expert.
