Question about Dr. K

I am considering going to Dr. K, but wonder what type of pre-op tests he requires? I am self-pay, and am hoping that I won't have to spend thousands on pre-op stuff. Does anyone know?

Hi, Dr. K did my surgery 9/07 and required no pre-op testing for me. He had access to my 6/07 yearly physical exam records and did his own pre-op assessment. Based on those 2 assessments, he didn't require any additional testing. I think any testing that is done is requested on an indiviual basis as needed. Good luck on your journey!

When your selfpay like we are Dr. K does not require pre-op testing if your a healthy patient. If your health history or medications would warrant for testing then he will have you do it. The more tests the higher the cost, of course he won't jepordize anyone either by not testing if they need it.
