Pictures of Clinic/Hotel in TJ for Dr. Ortiz

Hi All,
My family is being supportive of having the LAP-BAND^® surgery but not of having it in Mexico with Dr. Ortiz. I was wondering if anyone has some pictures they could email me, so I can show them the pics on the website is the same. I am almost 100% sure that is where I want to go, but as people who have not researched this as much as I have, they are very leary of going to Mexico, after hearing horror stories. Thanks so much.

Hi there joygirl! I cannot say enough about Dr. Ortiz or my trip to TJ. I have tons of pics and all my information about going. He saved my life. I would rather die than go back to where I was before surgery. I am in better physical and mental health than I have ever been in my life. To date I have lost 110 pounds. It would have been more by now but I hit a bump in the road of life and haven't been able to get back for a fill for over a year now. I had surgery 1-20-07, had the larger band applied and was told I would need 4 to 5 fills and I have only had 2. hi i am having my surgery with Dr Ortiz too on tuesday, i reaserch him alot his background everything i can say i spoke to lots of people about himm and only good fedback i got, picture i dont have , but what i will do today call him and talk to him personaly ask him question and se how he responds . take care and hope this lelps .

Dr. Ortiz use a clinic and not a hospital. If you really want to go to this doctor you may not want to show the pictures to your family. You will hear that his clinic is nice, clean and pretty, but it is not a hospital. My personal opinion is to have the surgery in a hospital. It is safer.
