how long was YOUR stay....

We'll I only stayed for about 6hrs then was discharged home.

surgery date 12-2-04

I went into surgical suite a little after 10AM and was sent home before 7 PM....

This is Day 6....I may actually make it to "2-ville" by New Years!!!

If I'm careful I can drink about 6 oz of liquids at a time now....mild discomfort over port....

I haven't taken any insulin since Day 1 post-op...still take my blood pressure pill,have appt w/internist 1/03 for his review...

No hunger sensations....that's weird....first time I can recall in my entire life I haven't been planning my next meal.... :banana :banana :banana

Checked in at hospital 5:30 AM on a Monday, checked out 11:30 AM on Tuesday morning. Surgery was 7:45am on Monday. Hospitals I don't mind, it's those damn needles!
