He's my choice of surgeon. When I met him at the seminar and for the consult, I really liked him. He has a great sense of humor, and was very easy to speak to.

When I met him he did seem really nice. I have an appointment to meet the psychologist next week, then another time the next week. They said I would have to see the psych. 4-5 times before surgery, did you have to? I was wondering if they just say that as the max. number of times, but it is usually less. Are you from Indy?

Dr. Clark is my Dr. He and his staff are very kind. I live in Terre Haute, if you have any questions please email. My surgery was Aug. 15, 2007. I am now to the point I can really tell I have lost weight. It was the best decision I have ever made.

I was told that the number of psych visits depends upon what comes up during the eval. I went twice, once for all the assessments, and once to discuss the assessments. Just remember, if you need to go more than once, it's just to help you along the path so that you are successful.

You'll also need to go to a nutritional seminar, where one of the dietitians will talk, and you'll find out all about protein.

The other stuff that you'll need to do will depend upon what your insurance requires. I've got Federal Employee BC, so the process was really easy.

I only had one psy. eval. and they mailed the paper work to Dr. Clark's office. I did talk to the dietician twice and attended two meetings. After that it was all about the insurance Co. Good luck! I wish you well.
