I got banded on 7/16/08 by Dr. Spivak and was wondering if there were any other Spivak banders using this site? It's nice to exchange information with all of the banders here but it would also be nice to exchange info with those who used the same doctor.

Here I am! Yep....I am part of the SPIVAK FAN CLUB! Last fill was this last spring, and glad to say I am nowhere filled near the limit of my band AND am below goal weight now.

Bunch of us, trust me. I was banded a year and a half ago. MORE than reached HIS goal (160!!!) and more than reached MY goal (150!!!).

He didn't give me a goal weight. I love him and continue to recommend him and his staff to anyone who asks but we never sat down and plotted a course or a goal. He just told me to not think about the band, but to live my life and try to keep the calories between 800-1100 a day. If I'm eating more than that, then it's time to come back for a fill.
