dody, thank you so much for the info--i will have to have a
"bariatric" size chair--maybe the airlines have this available--
i do not own a chair,only scooter

No need to go searching. Here I am!!
I didn't use my scooter when I had my surgery. I just used their Large wheelchairs at the hospital. I didn't have to fly so I am not sure about traveling with one. I know that when My mom Flys she calls ahead and tells them that she need a wheelchair and someone to take her to the gate. They take here right into the plane and she sits in the front seats. She is not like me. she is skinny so I am not sure about the seats. I DON'T FLY! big chicken here!! :)

Hi, I was wondering how your surgery went? My husband and I ran into you in the hallway at the hospital as we were leaving,{ he had his surgery the day before} We are going back down June 1st so I can have it done too!!He has lost 13 pounds so far but he is starting to get hungry!Hope everything is going great for you!
