Love your toes!!! Did you have them done or do them yourself?

Glad to hear the Miss. Clara is doing so well, if babies stayed as babies, I would have had 20!! I just love them!

Great job on the loss and all your POSITIVE changes! You rock!!

Hey Patty-Girl!
Pretty Toes!
Can you do mine, next time you visit my area?
I bet you're so excited about that new grandbaby girl!
I love babies! All kinds of babies, With and without! (if you know what I mean!)
They're soft, they smell good, they have tiny fingers that wrap around my finger and I just melt!

Well, on the topic of grandchildren, my daughter gave birth Friday to our first grandchild!! We drove to northern California and were here for the birth. She ended up having a C-section so is still in the hospital, but we've been able to see her and the little fellow every day. Being a grammy is the best!

The challenge sounds like a blast. Wish I could join, but I have no idea what to expect as far as pre-surgery diet and weight loss the first month post-op. I'll be watching to see how you all do though.

Congratulations Grammy!
That's great!
So you have a brand new Grandson?
That's wonderful!

When I had my surgery the pre-op diet wasn't difficult at all. I lost 13lbs on it.

Dee put me down for 20 lbs. I'm exercising so I think it can happen!

Party today. I did just fine, no temptations. Posting pics of the event.

Daughter Crystal, baby Clara Jean inside, her little helpers are my friend Donna's daughter and my foster daughter's little girl who calls me Mimi Patty:

Lap-- Amazing transformation -- you look so beautiful! I love your toe shot, too!

Dee -- Count me in for 20 pounds in the challenge, hope it's not too
late to chime in.

Woofay -- Glad to see your post; I've been wondering how you've been.

Grammy Mini -- Congrats on the grandbaby!

I just got in, so I haven't had time to go through all the posts since I've been away. I did have my toes all ready for their onederland debut, but after scraping all the polish on my big toe while falling up the stairs (long, ungraceful story there) I'm going to have to get another pedicure (oh darn ) before the picture. I have avoided the scales since my choices weren't the best this weekend -- but I did good on the portions, so we'll see at my weigh in tommorrow morning if the scales are going to be my friend!

Have a good night everyone!

Hey Banditos
Congrats to grandmas recent and soon to be. I'm jealous. My daughter isn't married yet and no prospects so I'm still a long way off from that joy in life.
I loved the toes Lap and you are looking so beautiful.
Please put me down for 20 lbs in 10 weeks. I'm a little concerned because I have only lost 3 lbs since surgery 5/14. I'm a little low on the BMI scale but have 2 obesity related problems - diabetes & high blood pressure. I had uterine cancer 5 years ago so there are those hysterectomy issues as well. But I want to do well with this. I'm trying to be patient and Natalie said not to expect much loss until I get my first fill. It is so encouraging to come here and see and hear how everyone is doing. Thanks for spurring us on both new to this and not so new. I really look forward to "hearing" how everyone is doing.
Dee - I love the protein plateau results you are getting and admire your diligence to stick with it.
I think I will move up a step in eating because I have been hungry for the last couple of days. But maybe I'll add a protein drink in the afternoon. After all that's what Paula told me to do from now on - drink (for now) or eat protein mid morning, mid afternoon and between dinner and bedtime. I'm not always good about doing what I'm told but that is something I'm working to change. She's the expert not me!

Happy Memorial Day:

I'm resting here in me bed getting to sleep in. Close to my heart is the meaning of this day and the brave ones who made it so and those that still do. Honoring two: Sargent Christopher Henry, my nephew currently in Iraq..on his way home, injured...wait, no worries, he fell and broke his wrist and fractured his hip, non combat.
Next, my sweet and precious son-in-law Shawn James Potter, daddy to little Clara Jean. Two tours of Iraq, one in the second wave of Iraqi Freedom.

Happy Memorial Day from the sweet toe painted lady (yes I do them myself)

Patty
