I used to avoid mirrors.

Today I bought a full length mirror.

That way I can check myself out. LOL!

I am loving this band.

19 to go.

Awesome! I know just what you mean. Now I seek out a mirror several times a day to make sure my outfit is properly adjusted, etc., where I probably went 10 years avoiding them before.

I love my band too!

Hehe, you and I have a lot in common atm. I just put one on the back of the bedroom door too. I acutually like what I see these days, the only thing I have to be paranoid of is that dreaded anklebiter look if my jeans are too short to wear with heels, lol, which is why I needed the mirror. Standing on the edge of the bath wasnt working well. Being tall, you know, that's such a problem. Its a pet hate of mine, pants must sit almost on the floor if you have heels on or it just looks, to use an Aussie colloquialism, horribly daggy.

I laughed out loud on the 'standing on the edge of the bath tub' story. WORD!

I only ever wanted to see myself from the chin up. Now I want to see it all. Tomorrow, I will take a pic of my new mirror. It is a big black framed lean against the wall mirror. It's killer gorgeous.

lol! I want to show it off.

PS, I only have 3 pair of pants that fit. There is NO way I can find any near here. I have to drive to Vancouver to Tall Girl. What a nuisance. I don't even try at regular stores. How are lengths in Up-side-down-land?

Ha, Julie, you are just gorgeous, I'd be checking myself out often too.

Great feeling isn't it.
Much better than the 'invisible' former me. If I kept myself invisible, then I didn't know how fat I got, and hopefully no one else would either.:heh:

I think perving on one's self is a common side effect of weight loss. I am finding myself pretending to look in store windows just to check myself out :pound:
