Don't feel bad. I thought he was female for the longest time. He posts on the singles thread and showed a picture of himself. I was so surprised. All that time I thought it was a female posting. I think that was before he had something written under his posting name.

Way to go Manatee! I'm jealous.

Seriously, where is the disclosure in the lapband brochure that says "may result in sudden bouts of insanity, alcoholism, and self-loathing moments"? -- Sarah

So since I started this thread, I was diagnosed with a slip, had revision surgery, was unfilled for several months, an bounced back to 200 lbs.

Right now I'm at 182 lbs, so time to restart the clock. I'm not sure I even can get to my original goal weight due to the muscle weight, but we will see. All I really know is that I have a pool party with my fellow gym rats on August 16 -- Time to PUSH

Well that's frustrating. Glad you're doing better. I had to have an unfill after plastic surgery and I put on some poundage too. I guess we can't get to smug about what we've learned, because the band really does help. Good luck with your push!
