New "how is your day" thread . . .

Sometimes the threads get really long .. .so I'm just going to meander into a new one . . .

Morning all . . . today is a "new day" for me . . . my daughter is graduated . . . omg how proud she was (and I am!) Now she wants that doctorate hood . . . so her quest continues . . . my son's family is still in my house . . . but the DL is on some second interviews .. . and today my "semi" significant other is coming back to town after being gone almost a year . . . not really sure how I'm feeling about this . . . I've played this game for 4 years (he lives in Seattle but comes to San Diego for 6-8 month shifts every year). I'm not sure if my attitude is irritation because of the noncommitment - or irritation because I'm becoming more selfish or irritation because I'm becoming more confident . . . gee . . . irritation seems to be a theme here . . . lol . . .anyway . . . we shall see. He knows I'm less then enthusiastic so we shall see . . . . .

Have a great day everyone! I get to be the person at work handing out tickets for the US Open today . . . so far partners and clients only . . . then they will open up for the managers . . . and by then, only the tickets for today will be left lol.

Hi Christasha. My day today is going to be a great one *dances around* - see my other thread as to why. It's funny, yesterday I was miserable with the first cold I've had in years and years and went home from work early. Today, I get smaller pants and all of a sudden, the cold isn't bothering me anymore! LOL! I'm still stuffed up, nose running, sneezing, etc, but right now I just don't care!! *dances some more*
